I listen to Nirvana, Cake, and the Dandy Warhols when I play. Speaking of Trent, he's pals with the Dandys, which I always thought was a weird combination...

I still think that Pretty Hate Machine and Broken are his best CDs. With the Teeth was pretty close to Pretty Hate Machine, though.

Okay, am I the only one who thinks Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen is perfect for GW? Long, too, so it doesn't get repetitive.

BTW: Principia, you rock.

Heck, I just set iTunes to shuffle, and I'm set. It includes Switchfoot, 3 Doors Down, Relient K, and Green Day. I'm set with that.

I agree. The thing I like about NIN is that he has no album that makes me go "Meh." I like them all.

When I am farming or just going and killing Charr with my 20th to feel powerful again (the desert is so humbling LOL) I like to put in some Ministry. I wish they would get off the damn Horse for a while and do some touring. If I could see any band live, it would be a toss-up between Ministry and Pink Floyd back in the day.

i listen to some rammstein and a lotof classic rock. I hate all of the new punk stuff like greenday and all those crappy bands who sing for money that are now so common and loved so much by 9,10,11, and 12 year old kids everywhere. I am ok with some metal but i dont really know much of the newer metal.

Try listening to the song Gay Bar by electric 6 it is interesting at the least.

The last few KoRn cd's, as well as System of a Down's new cd, I also throw in some christian stuff every once in a while, like Skillet and Pillar.

I usually just have my TV running while playing, but if I turn on music, it will be either some Zelda remixes from ingame music (Zelda always had the very best tunes) or the Morrowind Soundtrack CD that came with the collectors edition. That music takes me much more into the fantasy feeling, rock or pop or whatever actual music would just take me out of it.

Oh and of course, the Lord of the Rings Soundtrack.

I listen to REAL metal, not hardcore "screamo", not people who sound like creed and call themselves metal...and EPSECIALLY NOT PUNK ROCK!!!

My favorite bands:

Megadeth

Metallica

Iron Maiden

Black Sabbath

Kreator

Testament

Anthrax

Slayer

Nuclear Assault

Man O War

Crowbar

And pretty much anything related...

I love Anthrax's "Black Lodge", but Slayer's "Raining Blood" always makes me laugh.
Megadeth/Metallica/Iron Maiden are good bands, though.
